When you activate your Green Flag Smart Service membership online, you’ll have access to all the benefits that RoadServe customers enjoy. This includes reduced rates on MOTs, services and mechanical repairs.

RoadServe’s qualified mechanical experts will manage everything from the moment your car is booked in. They’ll deal with the garage on your behalf, and make sure you only pay for what you need and that the right number of hours have been charged. But becoming a member doesn’t mean you hand over all your control. RoadServe will keep you updated on everything that’s going on, and make sure that no work is carried out without your consent. You’ll always be the one in the driving seat.

Many of the garages offer a free collection and delivery service, as well as courtesy cars (subject to availability). All work is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first). And if things do go wrong, RoadServe will deal with the garage directly.

Once you’ve activated your Green Flag Smart Service membership, you can book online by clicking ‘book a garage’, logging in and using the MyGarage area of the website. Or you can give RoadServe a call on 0330 333 7104.

RoadServe will take care of every aspect of the booking and payment. Your only contact with the garage will be to drop off and pick up your car, unless you choose to have it collected and delivered (and your garage offers this service).

RoadServe will provide a selection of garages from an approved network based on your preferred location. All garages are monitored by RoadServe to ensure high-quality standards are maintained. If the garage you have in mind isn’t listed, RoadServe still might be able to help. Just call: 0330 333 7104.

The earliest available date will be displayed for each garage shown during your booking selection. You can then enter a preferred date and a second choice. Once RoadServe has checked this with the garage, they’ll contact you to confirm the booking.

From main dealers to independents, there’s a whole range of garages available in RoadServe’s approved network. And with more than 15,000 to choose from nationwide, there should always be one near you.

Yes, you’ll be kept updated all the way. No work will be carried out or charged to you without your permission.

RoadServe has an approved network of garages offering reduced rates on MOTs, services and mechanical repairs. RoadServe charge a 6% admin fee for their service, but if your total savings are 6% or less, then you won’t have to pay the fee. You’ll be able to see the savings you’ve made on your itemised invoice.

If the facility is available at your chosen garage, this can be requested when you book your MOT, service or mechanical repair. You can also take your car to the garage and collect it yourself, which will give you a wider range of garages and dates.

Yes. To ensure that manufacturer warranties aren’t invalidated, RoadServe garages perform work in accordance with the manufacturer’s service schedule and ensure that the parts used are Original Equipment (OE) equivalent.

Any warranty rectification required must be completed at a repairer specified by the warranty provider. But don’t worry, RoadServe will talk you through it and help with the arrangements wherever possible.

Yes, any parts and labour provided through RoadServe’s network of garages is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first). Some parts are guaranteed for longer.

Not if you want all the benefits of being a member. All MOTs, servicing and mechanical repairs need to be booked through RoadServe to receive preferential rates.

Your car details will be automatically updated when you inform Green Flag. This can take up to seven days. If you need to use the service within this time, log in and check if the MyGarage section of the website is displaying your new details. If not, contact RoadServe. You can either email them or call on 0330 333 7104.

Not at all. No fees or admin charges apply when you amend (or end) your Smart Service membership online.

Providing you currently have Green Flag breakdown cover, there’s no joining fee or annual membership to pay for this service. It’s an added benefit to your breakdown cover once you activate your Smart Service membership online.

Charges for any work are based on preferential rates. RoadServe charge a 6% admin fee for their service, but if your total savings are 6% or less, then you won’t have to pay the fee.

Time and hassle. And when it comes to money, it’ll depend on the work being done. But RoadServe will make sure no hidden or unnecessary extras are included in your bill, and that the right number of hours have been charged.

Your itemised invoice will highlight where you’ve made savings compared to the price you would have paid if you weren’t a RoadServe member. In 2017, half of RoadServe’s customers found they saved more than 20% after the 6% admin fee.

If any additional repairs are required, RoadServe will contact you to explain what needs doing. The work will only be carried out with your approval.

Once the job is completed and you have your car back, RoadServe will then contact you to take payment. Debit and credit cards are accepted.
